As part of the commissioning programme for O:4W, Anton Hecht is filming at St. David’s Hall from 10 – 4pm for his piece Play Date. Participants are needed for a few minutes to have their hands filmed playing a single note from a piece by Erik Satie. No musical ability is required as there will be a professional pianist on hand to assist.
The event will take place in the main auditorium of St. David’s Hall and will be played on the Steinway on stage. A rare chance to take your place in the limelight! If you wish to participate please turn up on the day.
Outcasting: Fourth Wall (O:4W) is the first artists’ moving image festival for Cardiff, Wales. The festival will commission new site specific work and have regular screenings around the city.
O:4W is funded by the Arts Council of Wales Festival Fund and Cardiff Contemporary.
